Since 2018, a specialized event organizer has been organizing immersive events where expert DMs manage D&D games in historic castles in England and at a U.S. castle resort. These are sessions that you can participate in, learn from, and then return to your group the following week and apply in your home campaign.”
Seasoned Educators

Advanced Options
A $1.5K enhanced option provides access to a introductory event, a welcome gift pack, and a brief one-on-one appointment with a teacher. This constitutes the debut of the program, though the organizers has previously run comparable workshops during breaks between game sessions at their premium gatherings.
“You could almost run an entire weekend just on consultation sessions for career game masters,” Carl mentioned. “I don’t know if that’s the most effective utilization of each attendee's hours – I think the structured learning and the hands-on activities is highly beneficial – but I believe it’s going to be one of the most popular parts of the program.”

Coming Developments
Feedback from the inaugural session will help guide upcoming academy workshops. Carl said that possible changes could include adding more office hours, making it longer to 72 hours, or experimenting with different seminar structures.
“I anticipate that we conduct these frequently,” Carl said. “I truly hope to see multiple Dungeon Master Universities in a given year, in different cities, and in various nations. The response has been really terrific. We're quite pleased with current developments and I believe it would be wonderful to be able to organize these in conjunction with big conventions.”
